We recently manufactured an order of custom terminal block screwdrivers. There were two sizes, both of which would be used by our customer’s field service technicians.
The raw material was A2 tool steel. A2 is a good choice when wear-resistance and toughness are required. It is often used for tools such as industrial punches, dies,
knives and slitters.
We utilized our in-house heat-treating capabilities to bring the hardness to about 56 HRC.
The order was for 50/each of the custom terminal block screwdrivers.
