A recent article from Forbes indicates there could be a shortage of skilled manufacturing labor required to replace retiring workers. Most of the solutions offered in the article centered around education to develop the required workforce and programs to delay the retirement of current employees.
C&C Machine would like to offer another solution: Larger companies could seek out the services of smaller companies to aid in manufacturing production requirements. Some smaller companies do have the required skills, equipment and capacity.
