C&C Machine Adds New Air Compressor
C&C Machine recently added a new 120 gallon Ingersoll Rand air compressor. It replaced our SpeedAire compressor that had been in use for over twenty years. We were able to salvage the old tank increasing our volume to 240 gallons. We continue to use our SpeedAire dryer to make sure no moisture enters our air supply lines.
A constant supply of clean dry air is essential for modern CNC machines. The air is used to keep tooling, actuators and other machine components cool, clean and in good working condition. This allows for more reliable machining and extends the life of expensive CNC equipment and tooling.
